Main research areas
- We have a workplace focused on additive plastic manufacturing (ultimaker type 3D printers) and a 3D scanning workplace.
- We perform 3D modeling in the SolidWorks software suite in which we can also certify our students (or external applicants).
- We have vast experience with modeling of liquids or gases flow at various pressures from atmospheric to almost vacuum.
- We are able to analyse heat flow and transfer in different structures and electronic devices. We can simulate real or fictional operation conditions, heating or cooling of objects in time, the influence of the field of temperature on materials linear expansion or the influence of different mechanical stresses in the model assembly (pressure, force, torsion, displacement,…).
- We obviously perform calculations of low-frequency electric and magnetic fields.
